Emcot is a wonderful, mid-terrace stone cottage, built in 1680 in Preston-under-Scar, three miles from Leyburn in North Yorkshire. The cottage has three first floor bedrooms, including a king-size double room. There is a first floor bathroom, a ground floor shower room and a sitting room with a south facing balcony. On the lower ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area for two by a woodburning stove. The boot room allows access into an enclosed, south facing cottage garden at the back of the property, where you can sit and enjoy a drink in the summer. There is also roadside parking available on a first come/first served basis, but which is usually available. Set in a wonderful spot, with so much to see and do in the surrounding area, Emcot is a wonderful base for couples, friends and families. Now is the perfect time to book Emcot for your holiday in Yorkshire and avoid the risk of being disapointed due it not being available.
